Week Calendar

We will begin our day in the village of Greenport where you will have time to shop and have lunch on your own.

Enjoy free play and language-based activities with other babies in a relaxed, friendly environment.

If you love trains, then hop aboard and join us for this fun-filled adventure. We will have a short storytime and then we will play with plenty of trains.

Teach younger children how to play chess and checkers. You do not have to be an expert to volunteer but knowledge of the rules is required. Each teen will receive one hour of community service for participating.

Signing with Sara provides an engaging opportunity with a Speech-Language Pathologist to learn American Sign Language. Join us for an interactive session filled with signing, songs, and books.

Help aid local food pantries by planting, tending and harvesting vegetables in the Library’s garden bed. Meet us in the lobby to head out to the garden together. In the event of rain, this program will be held in the Community Room.

The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Friday, August 9 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.
