Since the late 1800s residents have built summer bungalows along the shorelines of Long Island and Queens. Join Nancy Solomon as she examines two communities: West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook, and the bungalows of Far Rockaway.

Create your own beautiful henna tattoos while learning about this traditional art form.  Henna tattoos are not permanent, but will last for a few weeks so please make sure you are prepared for this commitment.

Get moving with instructors from Lil' Athletes! Build gross motor skills in a fun obstacle course, then learn some football and baseball basics. In case of rain, this program will take place in the Community Room.

Join us in our LearnLab to learn the basics of 3D printing and design in this hands-on workshop! We’ll learn how 3D printers work and how to create 3D designs, then we’ll use what we learned to make our own 3D printed creations.

Join us in the LearnLab to use Cricut DesignSpace and create a one of a kind tote bag, designed by you.

Teach younger children how to play chess and checkers. You do not have to be an expert to volunteer but knowledge of the rules is required. Each teen will receive one hour of community service for participating.
