The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Saturday, August 10 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.

This meeting is open to the public.

Help aid local food pantries by planting, tending and harvesting vegetables in the Library’s garden bed. Meet us in the lobby to head out to the garden together. In the event of rain, this program will be held in the Community Room.

Help a younger child create a solar oven perfect for making s’mores in the hot summer sun.  In the event of rain, this program will be held in the Community Room. Teens will receive one hour of community service.

It's Harry Potter's birthday this month! Come on down to the Library for fun Harry Potter-themed activities. Dress as your favorite character if you wish.

Get outside and get messy at the Library! Dress to get dirty. In case of rain, this program will meet in the Community Room.

Join local artist Melissa Krummeck to make a gorgeous piece of art using sea shells, beach glass and sand.

It's Shark Week! Join us as we celebrate these sensational sea creatures with stories, crafts and a super shark snack.

Volunteers from the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps will teach you what to do in case of an opioid overdose. Everyone who attends will leave with a certificate card and NARCAN®.
