Smithtown Building Closed
Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild. Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. April is National Poetry Month! Gather underneath our “poet-tree” to read poems, then we’ll create our own with some fun activities.
Teen volunteers are needed to design and make bookmarks. Bookmarks will be sent to patrons who are enjoying The Smithtown Library's Homebound Mail Service. Each teen will receive one hour of community service.
Celebrate National Library Week by painting bookends. After they’re painted and sealed, the bookends will go back on the shelves to hold up books with a new sense of style.
Telephone, online and in person registration begins two months prior to program date. Open to all adult drivers regardless of age. Please bring your license to class.
