Help aid local food pantries by planting, tending and harvesting vegetables in the Library’s garden bed. Meet us in the lobby to head out to the garden together. In the event of rain, this program will be held in the Community Room.
Decorate sea shells to raise awareness for cleaner beaches and oceans here on Long Island. We will paint shells to be spread across local beaches. Each teen will earn one hour of community service.
We all scream for ice cream! Bring your friends and show off your epic sundae making skills.

The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Friday, August 9 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.
The Smithtown Library proudly announces it's annual free outdoor summer concert series made possible by a Suffolk County Omnibus Grant obtained by Legislator Rob Trotta. Bring your own chair or blanket.
