Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

The Smithtown Library proudly announces it's annual free outdoor summer concert series made possible by a Suffolk County Omnibus Grant obtained by Legislator Rob Trotta.  Bring your own chair or blanket.  In case of inclement weather on the day of the event, please check our website at www.smithlib.org or call (631) 360-2480 ext. 150 after 3:00pm.
