Smithtown Building Closed
Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to rebuild. Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. For updates, click here.

2023 Dennis Cannataro Summer Concert Series
The 2023 Dennis Cannataro Family Summer Concert Series returns to our Smithtown Building this summer! Bring your chairs or blankets with you for these free concerts. Shows start at 7:30pm with a preshow at 7:00pm.

Attention, OverDrive app users - OverDrive is discontinuing the legacy OverDrive app on May 1, 2023 and transitioning users to the Libby app.

Seed Library Open for Spring!
The Smithtown Library is excited to announce our Seed Library, Smithtown Grows, is now open. We have a variety of seeds available. Packets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
