Smithtown Building Closed
Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild. Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing
In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28. We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Different crafts encourage children's hand-eye coordination and gross and fine motor skills development as they explore a variety of materials; includes storytime. Dress to make a mess.
Join us for this special program created especially for grandparents and their grandchildren. Enjoy spending time together playing, making a craft and listening to stories and songs.
Join Peter Landini as he leads you in Tai Chi, a form of exercise that will help improve balance and coordination, reduce stress, and calm the mind as you learn to move slowly and continuously through a series of gentle postures.

Teen volunteers are needed to design and make bookmarks. Bookmarks will be sent to patrons who are enjoying The Smithtown Library's Homebound Mail Service. Each teen will receive one hour of community service.
