Smithtown Building Closed
Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild. Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing
In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28. We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.
Time for Twos
Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories and a craft.
Help us take care of our vegetable garden. This program is geared towards patrons 18 years and older with sensory issues, those on the autism spectrum or those who have other specific needs.
Get outside and get messy at the Library! Dress to get dirty. In case of rain, this program will meet in the Community Room.

The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for young adults who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Friday, August 9 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.
Decorate rocks to show kindness which will be displayed in our Library gardens. Each teen will earn one hour of community service.

Nursery Rhyme Time
Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby. A great introduction to the Library for the youngest of children!
