Smithtown Building Closed
Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild. Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing
In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28. We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Assist the Children's Department set up and run a fun afternoon of world record challenges for younger children. Each teen will receive one hour of community service for participating.
Can you break the world record for most claps in a minute? How quickly can you find the letters in a bowl of alphabet cereal? Join us as we present real world records and see if you have what it takes to break them!
Experiment with visible light as we learn about the electromagnetic spectrum and how light moves. In case of rain, this program will meet in the Community Room.
Pilates is an accessible way to build overall strength for better posture, balance and flexibility. This class is for beginners and offers low-impact flexibility, strength and endurance movements. Please bring a mat and water to the class.
Do you want to make BBQ ribs but don’t have hours to wait for them to cook? Learn how to cook food that is normally cooked “low and slow” “high and fast”. Brian Collins will demonstrate how to cook pork ribs and Korean flanken (kalbi) with sides.
Kick it old school with a night of retro video and board games. Pizza and snacks will be provided.
