Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Everybody wants butterflies in their yard, but they forget the most important part, the host plants. Kimberly Simmen, from KMS Native Plants and Rewild Long Island will discuss native butterflies and moths, their life cycle, and an overview of host plants needed to attract butterflies.
