Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Science and stories collide in this fun, interactive S.T.E.M. program. Join us on an adventure about Professor Noble and the Science Heroes, who must save their town and the planet from a super-polluting mastermind. The audience helps the performer act out the tale, as we use the events in the story to discover and explore several exciting science concepts — like Newton’s laws of motion, air pressure, chemical reactions, and more.
