Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Join The Smithtown Library and The Commack-Kings Park Rotary Club in the unveiling and dedication ceremony of a Peace Pole. The Peace Pole is an internationally-recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family. The Peace Pole bears the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in different languages on each of its sides. There are estimated to be over 250,000 Peace Poles in every country in the world dedicated as monuments to peace. Thank you to the Commack-Kings Park Rotary Club for the donation. Rotary is a world-wide humanitarian organization that works to promote peace throughout the world as one of its cornerstones. Visit www.rotary.org for more information.
