Celebrate Women's History Month with film historian Larry Wolf as he discusses the life and career of Lucille Ball. Overcoming a difficult early life, Lucy learned to act and model, she became a Goldwyn Girl and eventually a leading B actress at various Hollywood Studios. Stardom was achieved through her trailblazing sitcom, I Love Lucy which made television history and is one of the greatest and funniest programs of all time. After the lecture, attendees will view one of her classic shows and peruse a memorabilia, book and autograph display.
