Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Event Details

Do you want to give back and be crafty at the same time? Take home a bag filled with the supplies needed to create a painted tote bag for those patronizing the Smithtown Food Pantry. Bags can be picked up from any Reference Desk on October 19 and finished totes must be returned by October 31; supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
