Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Join Joyann Cirigliano of the Four Harbors Audubon Society for a viewing and discussion of Racing Extinction a film about how wildlife are disappearing at a rate that’s 100 times faster than normal extinction rates and how, a group of scientists, photographers and volunteers are fighting to expose the reasons behind some of the losses and work to protect endangered species.
