Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Local author Debra Zaech L.M.S.W. will discuss how a positive relationship with your dog can reduce anxiety and depression, and increase self-esteem. Learn how to increase the bond to reap the benefits of the relationship. She will also discuss how this bond led to the writing of her book, The Stretchman a novel about the human-dog bond and its power over evil. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
