Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Event Details

Telephone, online and in person registration begins two months prior to program date. Classes are open to Smithtown Library cardholders only until one week prior to the program, when, space permitting, all individuals regardless of library district are welcome to register. Open to all adult drivers regardless of age. Please bring your license to class. Must have a library card to register; one registration per library card.  Fee: $30.00 cash only due to the instructor at the beginning of class.
