Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Holiday Closing

In observance of Thanksgiving, the Library will be closed Thursday, November 28.  We will reopen on Friday, November 29 at 9:30am.

Event Details

We are collaborating with The Crayon Initiative to give children in hospitals free crayons to express themselves through art.  Join us as we sort, peel and package crayons for this great cause.  Each teen will earn one hour of community service.
