Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Event Details

A Conversation About Death is a safe, informal gathering where people come together to discuss death, dying, and related topics in a relaxed setting. The goal is to create an open dialogue about what can often be considered taboo, encouraging participants to share their thoughts, experiences and feelings. Host will guide the conversation while ensuring a respectful atmosphere. The aim is to reduce the fear surrounding death, promote understanding and foster connections among participants. This program is lead by the Library's social work intern.
