Smithtown Building Closed

Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to assess the damage and begin to rebuild.  Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. Step into the Future of Gardening at the 2025 Philadelphia Flower Show! Gardens of Tomorrow invites you to explore the future through the eyes of visionary designers, expert gardeners, and passionate green enthusiasts as they merge nature's brilliance with human ingenuity. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Flower Show or at the Reading Terminal Market. Meet at the Kings Park Building parking lot at 7:45 AM to board the bus. We will depart the Flower Show at 4:30 PM to return home. Registration begins on January 2 for Smithtown Library cardholders. Registration for non-Smithtown Library cardholders begins on January 13. Fee: $95.00 per person includes ticket to show, coach bus transportation and all gratuities.
