Until further notice, the Smithtown Building will be closed.
Due to the storm that occurred during the early morning hours of August 19, which caused torrential flooding, our Smithtown Building suffered catastrophic damage to its lower level. Therefore, until further notice, our Smithtown Building will be closed while we continue to rebuild. Our other three buildings remain open to assist our patrons. For updates, click here.
In observance of New Years, the Library will be closed on Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2 at 9:30am.
During the month of December, a Mitten Tree will be set up in each of our library buildings. Patrons who would like to donate new mittens, gloves, scarves and hats are welcome to bring them in to decorate our trees. We are accepting donations for all ages. At the end of the month, we will give all donations to those in need.
