Tonight's Concert

Due to the inclement weather, tonight's concert at our Smithtown Building has been cancelled.  This show has not been rescheduled.

Who Can Vote

Registered voters who reside within the Smithtown Special Library District may vote in the Library’s Budget Vote and Trustee Election.

You are registered to vote if you have voted within the last four (4) years in a general, school or library election.  Additional information regarding voter registration and eligibility may be found here.  NYS Voter Registration forms can be obtained from the Suffolk County Board of Elections (in-person and online), any post office or at any building of The Smithtown Library.  Completed forms must be returned to the Suffolk County Board of Elections, not to the Library.

Note: The areas listed below are within the Town of Smithtown but are not served by the Smithtown Special Library District. Therefore, voters residing in these areas are not eligible to vote in the Library’s election:

  • Areas within the boundaries of the Sachem Public Library or the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library
  • Residents of the Sachem Public School District or the Three Village Central School District
