Road Work at our Kings Park Building

Due to road work being done on Church Street, the Library's main entrance is currently not accessible.  You can enter the Library's parking lot through the municipal parking lot on 25A across from the Kings Park Fire Department.

Holiday Closing

In observance of Mother's Day, the Library will be closed Sunday, May 12.  We will reopen on Monday, May 13 at 9:30am.

Do you enjoy learning about the past through historical non-fiction?  If so, be sure to join The Smithtown Library’s Historical Non-fiction Book Discussion Group.  Mediated by one of our librarians, this discussion group will feature non-fiction titles related to global, national, regional and local history topics.  The group will meet quarterly and books will be available at the Smithtown Building Circulation Desk one month prior to the next meeting date. We will discuss The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris by David G. McCullough.
