Due to the inclement weather, the Library will be closed on Sunday, December 14.   We will reopen on Monday, December 15 at 9:30am.

About Our Board

Library Trustees are elected by residents of the Smithtown Special Library District to serve for a three-year term of office. 

Trustees serve without compensation and are the official policy-making body of the Library.

Officers are appointed at the January Organizational Meeting.
