The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created by the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of Long Island libraries to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences. Celebrate this county-wide day of volunteering by picking up an age-appropriate packet to complete.
Items will be available for pick up at all four locations on Saturday, October 17. Finished items are due back by Saturday, October 24.

No registration required.
Supplies are first come first served basis. One packet per person.
Teens who participate will receive one hour of community service.
For Children: Decorate and compose messages on Kindness Cards for the residents at Gurwin Nursing Home who have had limited visitations during this time.
Printable Card Options:
For Teens: Color three placemats that will be given to various organizations.
For Adults: Color two bookmarks that will be given to local organizations, as well as sent to our homebound patrons.
