  • Teen Book Reviewer Program

    Earn community service by reviewing teen books! The Smithtown Library is looking for teens in grades 6-12 who would be willing to read a recently released teen novel and write a brief review.

  • Battle of the Books

    The Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for teens who wish to represent their public library. The competition will take place on Saturday, August 10 at Stony Brook University. Teams will answer trivia questions based on eight different books and score points for their team with each correct answer. To be eligible to participate, you must be entering grades 6-9; you must be able to attend meetings and must be ready for a summer of reading fun.   • Brainfuse HelpNow

    Brainfuse provides access to live tutors in math, science, reading/writing, social studies, PSAT/SAT, ACT, AP and state standardized tests as well as a 24-hour online writing lab and Homework Question Center. All you need is your library card!

  • Summer Reading Program

    Sign up for the 2019 Summer Reading Program, A Universe Of Stories, at any Smithtown Library building beginning on Monday, June 17. Teens entering grades 6-12 are eligible to participate. The more books you read, the more prizes and raffle tickets you can earn!
  • Get Involved!
