Registration requirements for all programs are listed in the description of each program. Teen Services programs are open to those in grades 6-12 unless otherwise noted.
Registration for April programs begins on Thursday, March 11. Registration for March programs began on Monday, February 8.

Teen Take and Make-DIY Galaxy Coasters
Commack Building
Make your own super-nova galaxy coasters that will rock your world. Kits will be available at the Commack Building starting April 1 and must be picked up by April 30. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make-Desert Sun Cross Stitch
Commack Building
Ready, set, stitch! Learn how to create a desert landscape using cross-stitch. Kits will be available at the Commack Building starting April 1 and must be picked up by April 30. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.

Kings Park Building

Teen Take and Make- Washer Necklaces
Nesconset Building
Raiding a tool box has never been so fun! Kits will be available at the Nesconset Building starting April 1 and must be picked up by April 30. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make- Flower Crowns
Smithtown Building
Celebrate Spring by designing and creating your very own artificial flower crown.
Kits will be available at the Smithtown Building starting April 1 and must be picked up before April 30. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Spring Slime Party
Tuesday, April 6 • 4:30-5:30pm
It’s time for some slime! Pick up your gooey ingredients from the Kings Park Building on Monday, April 5 from 9:30am-9:00pm or Tuesday, April 6 from 9:30am-4:00pm. We will meet on Zoom to make our slime together. Registration required. This program will be available on Zoom. Dungeons and Dragons
Thursday, April 8 • 6:00 -8:00pm
Join us for a virtual adventure! Perfect for beginners, this campaign will introduce you to the game and its rules while you play. Registration required. This program will be available on Zoom. Animal Crossing Meet-Up
Tuesday, April 13 • 4:30-5:30pm
Catch a Dodo Airlines flight to The Library’s New Horizons island for some prepared events and games, or just hangout and fish! Patrons must have a Nintendo Switch in order to join the program. SAT Review
Wednesdays, April 14, 21, 28 & May 5 • 6:00-8:30pm
Over two million students will be taking the SAT this year; if you're one of them, how prepared are you? This indispensable four-week course will be led by long-time SAT instructors. Please note: participants must provide their own copy of the book, The Official SAT Study Guide from The College Board.  In person or online registration required. Just in time for Mother’s Day, these beautiful handmade cards are sure to bring a smile. Kits will be available at the Smithtown building beginning Friday, April 16. Registration required. Teen Take and Make- Astrology Sign
Smithtown Building
Amidst the cosmos lies the 12 zodiac constellations, each one home to a stargazer’s favorite night sky stars. Draw your zodiac sign on a wood disc. Kits will be available at the Smithtown Building starting March 1 and must be picked up before March 31. In person or telephone registration is required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make – Marbled Planters
Kings Park Building
Decorate ceramic planters with a unique marbled design, then add artificial succulents as a finishing touch. Kits will be available at the Kings Park Building starting March 1 and must be picked up by March 31. In person or telephone registration is required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make- Cactus Pet Rocks
Nesconset Building
Cute, but not so cuddly. Make a pair of easy to care for pet rocks! Kits will be available at the Nesconset Building starting March 1 and must be picked up by March 31. In person or telephone registration is required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make-Paint Tape Art
Commack Building
Create your own abstract art with geometric shapes and vivid colors. Kits will be available at the Commack Building starting March 1 and must be picked up by March 31. In person or telephone registration is required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Pot of Gold Truffles
Wednesday, March 3 · 4:00-5:00pm
Get in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a sweet treat. Join the Baking Coach as we use crushed cupcakes, frosting, candy, marshmallows, and more to create delicious truffle masterpieces. Pick up your ingredients kit from the Smithtown or Kings Park building on Monday, March 1 from 4:00-9:00pm or Tuesday, March 2 from 9:30am-9:00pm. We will meet on Zoom to make the truffles together. This program may not be suitable for those with food allergies. Registration is required.
