Baby Steps

This is an open-ended playtime for you and your little one. Meet new families and friends while your baby is introduced to various sensory experiences through creative play.

Young at Art

Explore and discover art with your toddler through hands-on activities and fine motor fun. Children will take home their own masterpiece. Dress to make a mess.

Time for Twos

Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories, and a craft. Siblings are welcome.

Hip Hop Tots

Come get jiggy with your little one through creative movement, dance and music. Dance and bounce along to adorable hip hop beats, favorite sing-alongs and use creative props to get moving.

Art Starts

Different crafts encourage children's eye-hand coordination and gross and fine motor skills development as they explore a variety of materials; includes storytime. Dress to make a mess.

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

It may be cold outside, but we’ll bring the fun inside the Library. Join us for stories and crafts all about bubbles. We will blow bubbles, pop bubbles and even dance in bubbles. Dress to make a mess.

Snow Happy

Bow-wow join us for a tail waggin’ meet and greet with Rolly and Bingo, our friends from Puppy Dog Pals and create colorful crafts made with puppy love.

Preschool Dance Party

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play chess? Do you already know how to play chess and are you looking for someone to play with? Join us for chess buddies where you will play chess with a teen volunteer.

Snowy Pinecone Owls

The snowy owl lives in the Arctic, where it’s even colder than how it feels today. Enjoy stories about this wintertime friend and use a pinecone to create a “hoot” of a craft. Dress to make a mess.

Homework Help

Do you have the homework blues? Need help studying for an upcoming test? Let our qualified teen volunteers help you with homework, studying and projects! Bring your work to the Library and leave feeling accomplished.

Salt and Watercolor Snowflakes
(8-12 years)

Make a beautiful winter display using salt and watercolor paints, which together creates a fun textured look.
