Registration requirements for all programs are listed in the description of each program. Teen Services programs are open to those in grades 6-12 (up to age 18) unless otherwise noted.
Registration for May programs begins on Monday, April 12. Registration for April programs began on Thursday, March 11.
When registering online, please indicate name and grade in the note field.

Teen Take and Make- Avocuddle Pillows
Nesconset Building
Crafty and cozy. What can be better? Kits will be available at the Nesconset Building beginning May 1 and must be picked up by May 29. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make- Teapot Planters
Smithtown Building
Plant a seed and watch it grow! Paint your very own teapot planter. Kits will be available at the Smithtown Building beginning May 1 and must be picked up before May 29. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make- Origami Kits
Commack Building
Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. Take home a kit with supplies and instructions on how to make different shapes and figures. Kits will be available at the Commack Building beginning May 1 and must be picked up by May 29. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Teen Take and Make-Jigsaw Puzzle
Kings Park Building
Create your own Spring-themed jigsaw puzzle. Kits will be available at the Kings Park Building beginning May 1 and must be picked up by May 29. In person or telephone registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Name That Tune
Tuesday, May 4 • 4:30-5:30pm
Think you know it all when it comes to music? Come join us to test your skills and be declared our Name That Tune champion. Registration required. This program will be available on Zoom. Mugs for Mom

Bookworm Initials

Calling all readers! This craft is perfect to display your love of books. Create a book collage featuring your initial. When registering please indicate what initial you would like for your craft. Decorate your own cactus cookies! Pick up your pre-made cookie kit from the Nesconset or Commack Building on Monday, May 24 from 2:00-8:00pm or Tuesday, May 25 from 9:30am-6:00pm. It’s time for some slime! Pick up your gooey ingredients from the Kings Park Building on Monday, April 5 from 9:30am-9:00pm or Tuesday, April 6 from 9:30am-4:00pm. Dungeons and Dragons
Thursday, April 8 • 6:00 -8:00pm
Join us for a virtual adventure! Perfect for beginners, this campaign will introduce you to the game and its rules while you play. Registration required. This program will be available on Zoom. Animal Crossing Meet-Up

Catch a Dodo Airlines flight to The Library’s New Horizons island for some prepared events and games, or just hangout and fish! Patrons must have a Nintendo Switch in order to join the program. SAT Review
Wednesdays, April 14, 21, 28 & May 5 • 6:00-8:30pm
Over two million students will be taking the SAT this year; if you're one of them, how prepared are you? This indispensable four-week course will be led by long-time SAT instructors. Please note: participants must provide their own copy of the book, The Official SAT Study Guide from The College Board.  In person or online registration required.
