Discover the colorful world of Mary Blaire, Disney artist extraordinaire, when we read Pocket Full of Colors by Mary Guglielmo and Jacqueline Tourville. Using pastels, we will create a self-portrait inspired by Mary Blaire.

While you are at home asleep, these animals are wide awake. Learn facts about nocturnal creatures through books and create painted canvas art using cut-outs of bats, owls and more.
 
Bike Rodeo
(For families with children under the age of 12)

The Smithtown Library and the Suffolk County Police Department invite you to bring your bike and helmet to the Library and ride our safety track in the parking lot. Learn real world bicycle safety skills, such as where to ride on the road, safely crossing an intersection and how to properly wear a helmet.
