Call our story line each week for new stories read by our children’s librarians. We’ve picked our favorite read alouds in a wide range of genres & age groups, so there’s something for everyone. We’ll have five new stories every Wednesday, so add our number to your phone contacts now, and call whenever you need a great story! No registration required.

Kindness Cards

We’re participating in The Great Giveback of 2020, a statewide library project to provide meaningful, service-oriented programs. This year we will have Kindness Card Packets available for pick-up at all four library locations or download at bit.ly/KindnessCards2020. Children will decorate and compose messages for the residents at Gurwin Nursing Home, who have had limited visitations during this time. Finished cards are requested back by October 24. No registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
 
Break the Piggy Bank

There’s a national coin shortage, but you can help. Pick up a Piggy Bank Activity Project from any of our Children’s Departments beginning October 17th. Inside each packet are coin roll wrappers, games and other coin activities to play at home. No registration required. Supplies are available on a first come, first served basis.
