The Young Adult Summer Reading Program’s theme for 2015 is Unmask! If you are a teen entering grade 6-12 you can register at your local Smithtown Library branch on Monday, June 22! The more books you read and activities you complete, the more prizes and raffle tickets you will earn. The raffle tickets can be used to win one of the grand prizes. Be sure to stay tuned for fun filled programs you can sign up for! Programs include craft workshops, volunteer opportunities, baking classes, movie days and nights, and so much more! Super Hero Camp Volunteers

Earn community service credits as you help set up a superhero training academy for younger children, and then assist them as they complete their tasks! Register

Teen volunteers are needed to help the Friends of The Smithtown Library during their Family Summer Concert Series. The Friends of the Smithtown Library is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the resources of the Library. Please indicate which date(s) you wish to attend when registering. You will receive 2 hours of community service per concert.  Please be aware that the August 20th concert will be held at our Kings Park branch. August 27th is a rain date. Register. 
 
Book Buddies Volunteers

Earn community service by reading to a younger book buddy.  It is a rewarding experience that you won't want to miss.  Teens must attend both sessions to participate in our Book Buddies Program. Register

Join this volunteer program and help young children tinker in this one of a kind lab that explores science, simple mechanics, elements of design and other creative projects. Each teen will be paired with child to make a unique creation. Register
