The Young Adult Summer Reading Program’s theme for 2015 is Unmask! If you are a teen entering grade 6-12 you can register at your local Smithtown Library branch on Monday, June 22! The more books you read and activities you complete, the more prizes and raffle tickets you will earn. The raffle tickets can be used to win one of the grand prizes. Be sure to stay tuned for fun filled programs you can sign up for! Programs include craft workshops, volunteer opportunities, baking classes, movie days and nights, and so much more! Comic Book Clock

Teens will enjoy using pages from comic books to decorate a cool comic con style clock. Each clock includes mechanism, hour, minute & second hands plus a battery. All materials provided by the Library. Register
Craft Buddies Volunteers

Earn community service credit by assisting younger children in making a seasonal craft. Register

Join instructor Meredith Cooper as she teaches you the hottest dance moves set to high-energy, Latin-inspired music with Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, Samba and Hip Hop. Some people think of Zumba as exercise, some as a dance class… we think of it as fun night out! Join the party! Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing and bring a bottle of water. Register

A variety of volunteer opportunities will be offered at the Library throughout the year. Teens in grade 6 through grade 12 will receive community service credit for each program. Register
No-Sew Recycled T-Shirt Tote Bag

Turn that plain old t-shirt into a cool tote bag. Learn how to create a tote bag using scissors, an old t-shirt & safety pins. Please bring one or two T-shirts. The Library will provide all other materials. Register
