On-line, phone or in person registration for July and August programs begins on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10am.

Registration is required for all programs unless otherwise indicated.


Mother Goose Rhyme Time

Saturday, July 26 • 10:00-10:30am (Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Thursday, August 7 • 11:00-11:30am (Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby. A great introduction to the library for the youngest of children! Siblings are welcome.


Wonderful Ones

Thursday, August 14 and 21 • 11:00-11:45am (12-23 months with parent/caregiver)

This action-packed program engages little ones in language based activities;

includes free play, stories and fun! Siblings are welcome.


Time for Twos

Friday, July 18 and 25 • 11:00-11:45am (24-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Tuesday, August 19 and 26 • 11:00-11:45am (24-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories and a craft. Siblings are welcome.


Deep Blue Sea

Join us as we explore books about the sea and make “splashtastic” craft!


Bees Please

We will read author Esphyr Slobodkina’s Caps For Sale and then make a cute monkey craft.


Dragon Tales and Scales

We will read stories about fire-breathing dragons and then make a “cool” craft.


Little Book Buddies

Wednesday, August 6, 13, 20 and 27 • 3:30-4:00pm (4 years–Entering Grade 2)

Book Buddies is a program in which a child (4 years old -3rd grade) is paired with a teen (grades 6-12) for a rewarding reading experience! Older children receive community service credit for participation.


Laughing Lizards

Thursday, July 31 • 11:00-11:30am (Entering Grades K-2)

Let’s read about adventures in the old southwest and then make a lizard doorknob hanger for your room.



Tuesday, August 5 • 11:00-11:30am (Entering Grades K-2)

Create your own dream scene based on the beautiful illustrations from Caldecott Honor book Journey. Dress to make a mess.


Buggy About Books

Wednesday, August 6 • 11:00-11:30am (Entering Grades K-2)

Come and enjoy listening to cute "buggy" stories and have fun creating a bee or butterfly magnet.


Me and My Magic Wand

Tuesday, August 12 • 3:30-4:00pm (Entering Grades K-2)

Enjoy listening to princess stories. We will then use our imaginations to design a scratch art magic wand.


Rockin’ Recycled Instruments

Saturday, August 16 • 11:00-11:30am (Entering Grades 1-5)

Come to the library to learn about the science of sound and make your own instruments from recycled materials.


Friendly Fireflies

Have fun reading about our friend the firefly and make a cute firefly craft to decorate your room.


Design Your Own Tote Bag

Colorful Collage Box

Horse Sense

Howdy partner! Enjoy stories about the ranch and have fun making our own horse pal out of a paper plate!


Back to School is Cool

We will create masterpieces using every day school supplies! Bring your favorite notebook and the library will supply the rest. Dress to make a mess.
