Mother Goose Rhyme Time

Friday, December 5 • 11:00-11:30am

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby. A great introduction to the library for the youngest of children! Siblings are welcome.

 

Wonderful Ones  

Tuesday, December 9 and 16 • 11:00-11:45am       

This action-packed program engages little ones in language based activities;

includes free play, stories and fun! Siblings are welcome.

 

Time for Twos         

Wednesday, December 3 and 10 • 11:00-11:45am  

Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories and a craft. Siblings are welcome.

 

Terrific Threes         

Friday, December 12 and 19 • 11:00-11:45am

Enjoy free play, stories, crafts, and circle time. Siblings are welcome.

 

Super Special Sing-A-Long 

Monday, December 8 • 11:00-11:30am (2 years with parent/caregiver)     

We will read and sing some favorite nursery rhymes, listen to music and make a fun craft.

 

Digi-Tots

Friday, December 26 • 11:00-11:30am (2-4 years with parent/caregiver)  

Join us for a unique storytime you won’t want to miss! We will sing songs, read traditional stories, and introduce you and your little one to digital resources designed to foster early literacy skills. There will be free play at the end, allowing time for questions from caregivers about how to access these digital materials from home.

 

I’m the Gingerbread Man

Thursday, December 18 • 11:00-11:30am(3-5 year with parent/caregiver)

Let’s read the tale of the gingerbread man and decorate your own special gingerbread man.

 

Let It Snow                           

Monday, December 22 • 3:00-3:30pm (3-5 year with parent/caregiver)

It’s snowing in the library! We will read winter stories and make our very own snow to take home. Dress to make a mess.

 

Holiday Spectacular

Monday, December 29 • 11:00-11:45am (Ages 5-11 years)

Keep your skills sharp while on holiday break! Join us for a session of crafts, games, puzzles, word searches and more relating to the holiday season!

 

LEGO® League

Wednesday, December 17 • 4:00-4:45pm (Ages 7-11 years)

Do you enjoy building things? Stop in to our LEGO® League and make whatever you like. We'll provide the LEGO® BRICKS!

 

Adventures in Art: Winter Birch Trees     

Saturday, December 20 • 10:30-11:15am (Ages 7-11 years)

Create a beautiful watercolor painting of winter birch trees at night. Use tape and salt to help create the trees and snow!

Adventures in Art: Pastel Resist Fall Trees

Learn about abstract expressionist artist Wolf Kahn and create a painting inspired by his work using pastels and watercolors.

Want to see what your friends are reading? Come to the library and find out! Members of the Ready, Set, Review book club will have a chance to participate in book discussions and write book reviews. Your review will be on display in our Children’s Room! Before we meet, members should read a book of their choice.
