Mother Goose Rhyme Time

Saturday June 4 • 10:00-10:30am (Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Monday, June 13 • 11:00-11:30am (Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby.  A great introduction to the library for the youngest of children!  Siblings are welcome.

 

Wonderful Ones

Tuesday, June 7 • 11:00-11:45am (12-23 months with parent/caregiver)

This action-packed program engages little ones in language based activities;

includes free play, stories and fun!  Siblings are welcome.

 

Time for Twos

Saturday, June 11 • 10:00-10:45am (24-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Visit the Library and enjoy building social skills in a relaxed, friendly environment; includes free play, songs, stories and a craft.  Siblings are welcome.

 

Nursery Rhyme Surprise

Friday, June 10 • 11:00-11:30am (2 years with parent/caregiver)            

We will read, sing and make a cool craft with some of our favorite nursery rhymes.

 

Toddler’s Tango     

Friday, June 3 • 10:30-11:15am (2-4 years with parent/caregiver)           

Clap your hands, move your feet!  This creative movement and music program presented by Nicole Sparling uses multicultural music, instruments and props to improve motor skills and help children use their imaginations.

 

Oldies but Goodies

Tuesday, June 21 • 3:00-3:30pm (2-4 years with parent/caregiver)          

Join us for stories that your parents may have listened to when they were young.  We’ll make a craft, too.

 

Art Starts     

Tuesday, June 28 • 11:00-11:45am (2-4 years with parent/caregiver)      

Different crafts encourage children's hand-eye coordination and gross and fine motor skills development as they explore a variety of materials; includes storytime. Dress to make a mess!

 

Buzzing Bees

Wednesday, June 1 • 11:00-11:30am (3-5 years with parent/caregiver)

Buzz on down to the Library for stories and a craft.

 

Dad’s Day

Wednesday, June 8 • 11:00-11:30am (Ages 3-5 years with parent/caregiver)

Make a craft to surprise your dad with on his special day.  We’ll read stories too.

 

Clifford the Big Red Dog

Wednesday, June 29 • 3:00-3:30pm (3-5 years with parent/caregiver)

Join us as we read about our favorite big red dog and make a big red craft.

 

Friendly Frogs

Thursday, June 30 • 11:00-11:30am (3-5 years with parent/caregiver)

Hop along with us as we read a few froggy tales then make a friendly frog on a lily pad craft!

 

Monsters, Monsters Everywhere

Join us for this not so scary storytime.  Have fun listening to monster stories. Then make your very own Go Away Big Green Monster!

 

Little Book Buddies

Book Buddies is a program in which a child is paired with a teen for a rewarding reading experience. 

 

Franklin the Turtle

Join us for some stories and a craft as we learn some life lessons with Franklin the Turtle and his many friends.

 

Something Fishy at the Library

Thursday, June 9 • 4:15-4:45pm (5-9 years)

Swim on down to the Library to enjoy stories under the sea.  Have fun decorating a realistic fishy sticker scene.

 

Little Art Buddies

Enjoy an afternoon paired with a teen to create and explore different art techniques.

Butterfly Surprise

Tuesday, June 28 • 3:30-4:00pm (5-9 years)

Come and enjoy listening to a few butterfly stories and then have fun decorating a butterfly with different colored buttons.

 

Orangutan Storytime                    

Wednesday, June 22 •4:00-4:30pm (6-9 years)

We will read stories about the lovable orangutan. We will learn about this endangered ape as well as do a craft.

 

Easy Origami

Monday, June 6 • 4:00-4:45pm (Ages 7-11 years)

Try something new. Join us as we make some easy origami figures.

 

Sand Art Fun

Wednesday, June 15 • 4:15-4:45 (8-12 years)

Using different colored sand and a choice of a variety of bottles, you can create a beautiful design.
