Nursery Rhyme Time

(Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby. A great introduction to the Library for the youngest of children. Siblings are welcome.

 

Wonderful Ones

Friday, September 16 • 10:30-11:15am

(12-23 months with parent/caregiver)

This action-packed program engages little ones in language-based activities; includes free play, stories and fun.  Siblings are welcome. 

 

Art Starts

Different crafts that encourage children’s hand-eye coordination and gross and fine motor skills development as they explore a variety of materials; includes story time. Dress to make a mess.

 

Library Playdate

Friday, September 9 • 10:30-11:15am

(2-4 years with parent/caregiver)

Seize the play and keep the mess at our place. Join us for an informal playdate - meet other children and families while playing with toys and creating an art project.

 

Pies with Miss Peggy

I love pie, all kinds of pie -- cherry pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie!  Let’s make a fun (pretend) cherry pie to take home and tell stories about this delicious dessert!

 

Super School Bus

Are your older brothers and sisters riding the school bus to school?  Before it’s your turn to ride the bus, make a school bus craft to take home and show them.

 

Imagination Station

Alphabet Soup

Early literacy is easy as A,B,C and 1-2-3 with songs, stories, and crafts.  This month, we focus on the letters A and B.

 

Apple Sand

 September is the perfect time for delicious apples.  Let’s read about them, and make a special apple craft using colored sand.

 

Milk and Cookies Storytime

Little Craft Buddies

Craft Buddies is a program in which a child is paired with a teen as they work together to create a craft for the child to take home.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play chess?  Do you already know how to play chess and are looking for someone to play with? Join us for chess buddies where you will play chess with a teen volunteer.

 

Pokémon Pandemonium

"Pokémon Go" to the library, do you? Come on down to the library to make some fun Pokémon themed crafts, play games, and share some Pokémon game tips.  

 

Nerd Squad

Geek out over all things pop-culture in this friendly, inclusive environment. We will enjoy lively conversation as we discuss our newsletter, do fun crafts or activities and watch a short video playlist. A small snack will be served.

 

Creation Station
