Mother Goose Rhyme Time

(Birth-35 months with parent/caregiver)

Enjoy a traditional time of nursery rhymes and songs for baby. A great introduction to the Library for the youngest of children! Siblings are welcome.

 

Babies Boogie

Thursday, May 28 • 10:30-11:15am

(3-23 months with parent/caregiver)

Bounce and Boogie with your baby!  Songs, musical instruments and movement will get even the littlest musicians moving and shaking.  Presented by Nicole Sparling.

 

Wonderful Ones

(12-23 months with parent/caregiver)

This action-packed program engages little ones in language based activities; includes free play, stories and fun!  Siblings are welcome. 

 

Art Starts

(2-4 years with parent/caregiver)

Different crafts that encourage children’s hand-eye coordination and gross and fine motor skills development as they explore a variety of materials; includes storytime. Dress to make a mess.

 

Caterpillars are Creeping

Hola!  How would you like to learn how to speak Spanish?  Join us for this bilingual storytime where we will learn basic Spanish -- colors, numbers, parts of the body -- and enjoy a story or two in Spanish, too!  It will be fantastico!

YUM! YUM!  Join us for munchkins as we celebrate Mother’s Day!  We will take a picture with Mom and put it in a fabulous picture frame you create with your very own hands

 

Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Calling all graphic novel enthusiasts: we are currently looking for members for the Commack Building's Graphic Novel Advisory Team! Meetings will include exclusive first looks at the Library's new graphic novels, cool projects and crafts, and of course, a chance to chat up all things graphic novels with friends! A small snack will be served.

Tinker in the one-of-a-kind lab that explores science, simple mechanics, elements of design, and other creative projects. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!
