Featured Children Book

51 0 El9PML. SX258 BO1204203200

This month we're celebrating Poetry Month!  Margaret Wise Brown's classic 1953 story The Golden Bunny was reissued this year for a new generation to enjoy.  This enchanting book includes tender and witty stories and poems, featuring bunnies in all seasons.  Sweet stories of a land in which "there were nothing but bunnies" will work nicely as one-on-one or bedtime reads.  The lush, ornimental illustrations in saturated jewel tones by Caldecott Medalist Leonard Weisgard really bring life to the story and make it visually appealing.

Logo - 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

All families and caregivers are encouraged to read at least 1000 books with their young children before they enter Kindergarten. Reading to preschool-age children builds vocabulary, language skills, and helps prepare them for Kindergarten. Families can build the skills needed for future success. Ask your children's librarian for more information.
